Some things to consider and questions anwsered:

A: Compared to the money you've spent on your dog, a piece of art for everyone isn't all that costly.   Remember it costs money for quality hand-done art work...as in it's not done on a computer or outsourced overseas.  My (your new) art starts at $400.00 for one dog doing whatever you want to see your doggie doing.  More dogs or if you want little Johnnie included will cost a bit more, however let me know what you have in mind and I'll give you a reasonable and accurate price.  Ask questions and together we’ll come up with a piece of art that you’ll cherish for years to come.

A: Well, it's a little bit of everything.  I typically work with an illustration pen, charcoal, paint and colored pencils, maybe even a little blood, sweat and tears.  I'm also a very accomplished oil painter, and yes, it’s more expensive but sure is cool to have the canvas.

A: That kinda of depends.  If I have an open calendar and not catering to my own dogs needs, usually you can expect 4-6 weeks once you've given me the deposit.
By the way, speaking of a deposit:  To cover start up costs I require $100 non-refundable deposit to get started.

A: Sorry you'll need to go to your local frame/hobby shop for the framing and glass.  ALTHOUGH, if you get an illustration done I can mat it for you.  I can acquire about any color of matting know to man and maybe even save you some money compared to a frame shop.  Let me know what you're thinking and I'll quote you a cost.

A: As long as you're residing in the continuous 48 the shipping is only $10 for an illustration and $20 for a painting.  I'll take every precaution to make sure the art arrives to you in one piece but I would prefer if we can arrange to have it hand delivered, I travel and we may know someone in common - besides I love the reaction of clients when they see the finished work.

A: Not true, in fact my wife and I owned a black and white cute little "kitty" (RIP)- I have the scars to prove it.  I would love to do an illustration of your cat/macaque/horse/iguana/pigeon (as long as it doesn’t scratch/spit/poop/bite or infect me with the Ebola virus).
